What permissions does Enclave ask for?
Only when a feature first needs them: Automation for Music and Spotify, Calendars, Location for weather, Bluetooth for headphone battery, the Downloads folder, the camera for the mirror, Accessibility for unread badges and Full Disk Access to read your Focus mode.
Will it work on a Mac without a notch?
Yes. On Macs and displays without one, Enclave draws a 190-point notch at the top centre of the screen.
Does Enclave collect any data?
No analytics and no account. It only goes online for lyrics, album art and weather, and to check a Pro license key.
How does Pro work?
Buy once through Polar and paste the license key from your receipt into Settings → License. Moving to a new Mac? Deactivate it on the old one first (Settings → License), or free it from your purchase page.
Does it work with Spotify and Apple Music?
Yes, both, with the real cover, lyrics and controls. On macOS versions that allow it, anything else playing on your Mac shows too.
macOS says it can't check Enclave for malicious software.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Enclave, then confirm with your password. You only need to do this once.
I lost my license key.
It's in your Polar receipt email, and always on your purchase page — sign in with the email you bought with.
How do I get help?
Email support. For anything about a payment or a refund, you can also reply to your Polar receipt.
Is it on the Mac App Store?
No. Enclave uses system features the App Store doesn't allow, like music on the lock screen. It downloads straight from this site.
